This competency-based 40-hour course develops the knowledge and practical skills required to prepare accurate construction estimates using Canadian industry practices. Participants learn the complete estimating process, from interpreting drawings and specifications through quantity take-off, pricing, tender preparation, procurement, contracts, scheduling considerations, cost control, risk management, value engineering, and health and safety. Learning is supported by practical exercises and real-world Canadian case studies.

Attendance is required for the full 40-hour virtual program. A Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants who meet the attendance requirements and achieve a minimum final examination score of 70%.
