The CBA (Competency-Based Assessment) Writing Workshop is a specialized training program for engineers in Canada who are working towards obtaining their P.Eng license. This workshop helps participants develop the necessary skills to prepare their CBAs according to the standard format in Canada.
CBA writing involves documenting an engineer’s competencies and professional experiences in line with standards set by Canadian engineering organizations. These documents include a detailed description of projects, individual roles and responsibilities in each project, and the competencies gained.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to write their CBAs following the standard format. Some of the key standards covered in this workshop include:
Providing precise and comprehensive descriptions of projects and tasks

Please note that this workshop is focused solely on teaching you how to write a CBA; no review or evaluation of participants' CBAs will be conducted at the end of the workshop.
